Bird's eye-view of Unity Gardens.

Unity Gardens is a small district opposite of Unity Station, El Corona and Idlewood. The area is a well-known hispanic enclave, and has been since the early 1930's. The area was filled with hispanic immigrants when a job was offered to create the rail system to Unity Station and at the time there was an influx of hispanics from Mexico, hence why El Corona and Unity Gardens are hispanic enclaves to this current day. Even though Unity Gardens is quite small it is known for being a high populated district. The area to this current date now mainly consists of Mexican-Americans, also known as latinos. The small district is known for gang violence in the past and present and is commonly avoided by most. The ZIP code that is used to represent Unity Gardens is 90301.
